Air tracks

An air track glider provides the raw material for highly accurate investigations into the laws of motion. Add a timing system and investigate uniform motion, average and instantaneous velocities, uniform acceleration, elastic and inelastic collisions, impulse and change in momentum, conservation of momentum, conservation of energy and more. The data is precise and unambiguous. Frictional forces are negligible. This set includes the air track, two gliders, mounting hardware and many more accessories to explore physics principles in a near frictionless environment. An air supply (such as the SF-9216 - sold separately) is required for use.
