Well done to graduate students Edison Weik and Zubair Bhatti for representing NYU with excellent presentations at two public conferences in successive weeks this June!
Edison presented his analysis at the Anomaly Detection for High Energy Physics workshop a train ride away at Nevis Laboratories, Columbia University. Faculty members Andy Haas and Jesse Liu also attended this conference featuring lively discussions at the cutting edge of machine learning and data analysis.
Meanwhile, Zubair embarked on a transatlantic trip to the University of Sussex in Brighton, UK to present the latest supersymmetry searches on behalf of ATLAS and CMS at the Weak Interactions & Neutrinos Conference.
