Important Information for Guests Staying in NYU Dormitory During the Conference:

Checking In & Out
  • Upon their arrival guests will check in at the Residence Hall Resource Center between 3:00 PM & 8:00 PM. Any request for an exception to the designated check-in time must be discussed with a Summer Housing representative.
  • At check-in guests will receive their room key, a temporary identification card allowing them access to the residence hall.
  • Residents must check and turn in their room key by 11:00 AM. Any request for an exception to the designated check out time must be discussed with a Summer Housing representative.
Security
  • Personnel from the NYU Department of Public Safety monitor access at each residence hall.
  • All participants will be required to provide proper identification upon entering the residence hall. Participants are not permitted to have overnight guests.
Furnishings
  • All bedrooms are furnished with a twin-sized bed, dresser, and desk for each resident. There is overhead lighting in each bedroom.
  • A linen package is issued at check-in. The linen package contains a sheet, blanket, pillow, pillowcase, and small towel. Guests are responsible for making their own beds. Upon departure, the linen should be returned to the Resource Center.
  • NYU Summer Housing does not provide in-room telephone, television, or Internet connectivity to short-term groups. Wireless Internet service is available in most public areas.
  • Residents must provide their own toiletries. These items can be purchased at local pharmacies, which can be found within two blocks of the building.
  • Rooms are cleaned prior to occupancy and after departure, however, no cleaning service is provided during the guests' occupancy of the bedroom and/or suite.
Meal Plans
  • We do not provide meal plans for short-term guests. If you would like to arrange for meal services or catering, please contact Aramark representative Mark Vallaro at Vallaro-Mark@aramark.com.

Founders Hall is one of New York University's newest residence hall. There are 2 types of rooms are available. And we have reserved 70 spaces from Friday, May 25th to Tuesday, May 29th.
Quad suite:
Each suite has 2 rooms with 2 twin beds. We have 5 suites and 20 spaces in total. The cost is $51 per bed per night.
Double room:
Each room has 2 beds. We have 25 rooms and 50 spaces in total. The cost is $77 per bed per night.
Each unit is air-conditioned and has its own bathroom. There is no kitchen. Wireless is available in the lobby and in lounges. For more details, please visit the NYU Founders Hall Information page.
