While at Bell Labs I was fortunate to have been able to help the
State of New Jersey develop a radiation protection program. I served
on the NJ Commission of Radiation Protection for 30 years and chaired
the commission for 20 years. The commission developed rules and
regulations to project NJ citizens from hamful effects of radiation,
both ionizing and non-ionizing.
