PhD 1957, Advisor: Serge Korf, Thesis: Some Measurements of Atmospheric Neutrons
I retired from Bell Labs in 1996 after 40 years of research in Geophysics, Data Analysis,
and Computer Science; and then worked as a consultant until Lucent downsized in July 2001.
At the moment I think of myself as unemployed - but considering the state of the telecom
industry, I may actually be retired. Currently, I'm amusing myself by developing some new
layout algorithms for the interactive exploration of graphs with large numbers of nodes
and links.
