Retired in 2000 from Yale University as Associate Director of Cooperative Research (technology transfer office); retired from The Perkin-Elmer Corporation (now named Aplera) in 1995 as Vice President, Analytical Instrument R&D (started at PE in 1965). I look back fondly on my educational experiences, the wonderful subject of physics and my industrial career.
